Characteristics of function software and system digitalization. The digitalization of this system is not only embodied in regulator but also in power cabinet and ficld discharge cabinet. All parts of the excitation system can realize intelligent detection, intelligent display, intelligent control, information intelligent transmission and intelligent testing, greatly enhancing the reliability of the device and technological level. This system absorbs the advanced research achievement and technology in the field of present digital control, increases new exquisite solution and means such as DSP digital signal processing technology, silicon control bridge rectifier dynamic flow equalization technology, high frequency pulse train trigger technology, low residual pressure quick build-up excitation technology, perfect communication function and intellectualized debugging means, etc. Fieldbus technology is also applied to all the parts of excitation system for controlling and information exchanging, making the excitation device become an organic and integrated whole.

Main features of regulator:
Completely independent microcomputer/microcomputer/analogue three -channel two-module redundancy structure, mutual stand-by between channels, the stand-by channel automatically track the running passage, automatically realize undisturbed exchange after accident, ensuring the reliability of the regulator’s operation by the roots.
•The regulator is flexible in configuration, able to provide multiple choices for users.
•The regulator’s hardware adopts multiple CPU mode, circuit surface placement technology and fan-less structure. The chief CPU is used for regulation and logic control, the high speed DSP chip is used for exchanging samples, with CPUs exchanging data through double-port RAM. This hardware mode can ensure the reliable procedure operation, fast calculation in electrical quantity collection and strong ability in anti-jamming.
•The regulator has perfect failure detection function with the detection range coving power system, hardware system and software system, adopting the measure of self-detection combined by mutual detection, ensuring the safe side of failure detection and channel zapping.
•The interior fieldbus interconnection technology enhances the degree of excitation system digitalization, realizes layered distributed control and improves the reliability of system and technological level for maintenance.
Main features
·Rated output ability of single cabinet reaches to 2000A, and force excitation ability reaches to 3000A/60S.
·Each bridge is installed independently in one cabinet and each power cabinet has independent air ducting structure and cooling system, adopting the manner of the forced sir cooling and negative pressure ventilation. Every power cabinet has two independent full capacity low noise air blower. The startup and shutdown control of air blower and switching are controlled by power cabinet intelligent control system.
Main features of ficld discharge cabinet
The ficld discharge cabinet introduces the intelligence control system and cancels the conventional meter counting and indicating lamp. Such features as operation, control, condition monitoring, information transmission, information display and testing of the ficld discharge cabinet all realize the intellectualization. The specifics are as follows:
·Measure the excitation voltage and excitation current
·Calculate rotor circuit temperature
·Field discharge switch motion counting, silicon control jumper motion counting
·Test the intelligent filtering function. Without externally connecting any equipment, the intelligent detection unit automatically measures and records the data of excitation voltage and excitation current and uploads to debugging software for further processing through serial port.
·Display the operational state of ficld discharge cabinet, including switch position, excitation voltage, excitation current, rotor temperature, switch operations and jumper operations, etc.
·Through CAN bus line, the regulating cabinet is interconnected with power cabinet, realizing two-way high speed transmission of information.
